It's been a year working at Oracle now. Should I switch or stay for a year more. The technologies seem outdated. Instead of Java, I'm mostly editing xml files. Most development is UI based using JDeveloper. I feel like I'm not learning enough(not learning tech that'll be useful elsewhere).@oracle

As I'm moving to a new role in a small company, I have a doubt about my salary structure like the Basic salary part is only 20,000 while my take home is 62k after all deductions.

I'm concerned because the leave encashment & other things totally depends on the basic salary.

Are there not any rules for the Basic salary to be at a certain % of CTC or it depends totally on the company?

Also PF deductions they are offering only 1800 p.m but considering 20000 basic it should be 12% of 20000 right?

I have this offer to be a senior sales manager that I am really keen to take up, but after finding out the work hours is horrendously long, I am thinking otherwise.

The working hours is 9 to 6 plus another 6 hours of paper work.

I am keen to join if they can provide a conducive and reasonable work hours which the new management is heading towards but it will take time before it will be actualized.

Hi Fishes, I was hired by Optum as Tableau Developer in June 2021. One year passed and I was just doing support and maintenance work on Tableau dashboards (no new development). Now the company wants me to work on Power BI and convert all dashboards into it. I want to make my career in Tableau and I don't want to work on Power BI as I find it hard as compared to Tableau also less interesting.
