Recently got a job offer from Wells Fargo wealth & investment management (WIM) starting 60k in Charlotte NC. The position sounds appealing coming out of college but my friends doing the risk program are getting 72k compensation. I feel that the offer is on the low end? Anyone have any thoughts and guidance? What the exit opportunities look like etc!

For background: recent grad with “concentration” (minor?) in cybersecurity.

Just started working in-house within the last couple of months. First real attorney gig after doing compliance. The GC was terminated and I had to fill in the role as GC (even though that’s not what I’m called). My company says they don’t need a GC. Talked to my boss today and they want to hire another to take things off my plate since I am the only attorney. They plan to rewrite my job position to do more risk and compliance. Currently a Sr PM in-house in Chicago area, and up for a promotion. What is this step in the agency realm? Role is sort of a Jr manager role over other PMs, larger role in crafting processes and structures of work within creative studio and working with execs to drive change/work, and owning large complex bodies of work. I’ve been on the job hunt for 8 months. Over 200 applications and less than 10 interviews. I’m trying to find a role in media/entertainment. I have VFX PA experience on a Sony Pictures Film. Anyone else get super annoyed when a student hands in late work and the parent immediately asks you why it’s not graded and posted? 😡

Called into the principal's office to discuss a parent's concern and was blindsided with accusations against me. I was "guilty", despite the fact I had previously documented and proven that this student twisted truths. I was not allowed to defend myself. Then I was told I was not a good fit for the school. I have been there for 13 yrs, 3 with this principal. Suddenly, I am accused of lacking empathy and told the students needed to be "protected" from me.
I don't know what just happened.
