Hi I came to know a strange thing about EY medical insurance if your wife is working .she will not be dependent on you and due to it she will not cover under the mediclaim

Recently 1 of my clients initiated open PTO policy. The transition from set leave balance to open was smooth process. However we are running into dilemma of how we standardize different types of leaves and whether there will be a limitation to how much open PTO is used at one time. For leisure, we just limit taking two weeks max at one time. However if we have volunteer policy or bereavement policy how should we standardize it? If EE is out for longterm sick, how do we standardize time paid?

Leads are redirected to our website, which is optimized for self-service and conversion. After a day, unconverted leads are assigned to outbound SDR team. How do you feel about splitting everything 50-50 with your partner? I don’t feel as rigid about it bc I feel it balances out one way or another, but my partner feels as if he owes me if we don’t split 50-50 and I pay more. I get where he’s coming from but 50-50 just feels transactional and not intimate. For context: I make 3x more than he does and he’s still finishing his medical fellowship, so I don’t feel it’s a matter of feeling less than.

Have competing offers from EY and KPMG UK Economic advisory teams( Manager/Snr Exec level). KPMG's UK technical rep and comp offer is better, but the hours appear longer. EY UK Director has had several calls selling culture (diversity and work life balance). Is there actually a substantive emphasis on this by EY? Or are 50+ hour weeks quite common? I suspect it's going to be quite team dependent/ project dependent, and therefore a gamble in any case. Thanks for any perspectives.
