Hello, currently on contract doing comms for the govt and formerly a freelance business/brand consultant (7 YOE total) looking to pivot to a role that’s a little more technical while still being able to utilize my business expertise. I’ve been actively interviewing for a few weeks. I’m an experienced, intelligent female who speaks well and has the resume to back it up. I am aware that I’m also good looking. How have other women handled interviewing, getting projects, or promotions where you felt looks have come into play? Have you had different responses when a man was the decision maker vs a woman? Thought Starter: I used to work in fashion and we’d always that women dress for other women, not men.

Technical questions: is that the interviewer’s style? Is that targeted at certain interviewees, say small firm trying to go big firm, or senior applying for manager? What do you think?

I recently got interviewed at Salesforce for position of Lead Automation Solutions Engineer and they extended an offer. FYI,I did some initial negotiation and the package looks like this;
Total Pkg - 255K(Base - 136K,MBO - 9K,Commision - 49K,RSU - 60K/4year).
Is there any room for negotiation or did I already hit the roofline?

I have an upcoming Amazon interview next month (Frontend engineer) and I have an extreme anxiety issues.
