Looking for advice on project management software or tools for HR consulting. Our firm doesn’t have anything that is standard or used at all, and while some of us are starting to venture into using Microsoft Teams, I feel like there are so many tools out there and we could be doing things way more efficiently. Technically, if you are rich enough, isn’t self-insurance the best option? Insurance companies have to make money by taking in more in premiums than paying out in claims, so on average the customer is losing money and has a negative (albeit stable) NPV on their insurance money. But if you had enough money to tolerate the risk of a unexpectedly high expense, wouldn’t it be better to not pay for the insurance?

It's been 1 year at my current company. I've gone thru 3 managers, 2 directors & the recruitment team I'm on dwindle down from 20+ to 10. Recently, my manager was let go & 3 people are trying to do their job. I'm starting to get concerned as this manager had a good connection & communication with our team.
