I’m torn between 2 offers. One as a Managing Consultant at a boutique talent consulting firm and one as a Talent/OD Lead in industry. My long term goal is to become a Director/VP one day. People are telling to go for the industry role then but I kind of still want to be in consulting for a few more years. Will it be harder for me to make the switch later to a more senior role in HR from consulting than to climb the ranks at one company?
