Hi, I have a question to ask. How have you been navigating through this tough job market? How do you apply for jobs, what method or tactics have been helping. How have you been getting responses(whether rejection or interview)? What can we do differently? The market is competitive but it is still achievable. I am still in this journey, chasing and not giving up. I got tired of trying this morning but looking back at where i was coming from, I knew giving up is not an option. Your thought guys?

Any good recommended books on how to build a scalable product and team? I'm looking for recommendations for two areas: 1) in general laying the groundwork in a startup to have the tools and especially processes in place to scale, and 2) tactical focus on building a SaaS project. I've been promoted into a management role from Dev roots, so need to learn more PM processes to be an effective manager in day job, plus would like to start building my own SaaS solution.

My boss just gave their notice (3rd boss in 2 months) and told me to get a new job based on “mud within the executive level” of the organization (~5 years, 2 rebrands, etc). I’ve been there for 18 months. Looking at the recession expected to hit Canada in early 2023, I feel stuck; hiring is slow everywhere but jumping ship now means I’ll be the “last in the door” at most places. For those fully remote but have team/company offsites for in-person collaboration, do you require everyone to be at the offsite, or are there options to still dial-in remotely?
