Infosys Limited Hi everyone, I am working on java since 2017. I have 1 YOE in Tata Consultancy in support and now I want to switch to a Java developer role. I have personally worked on Java, Servlets, JSP, Spring, Spring Boot, Rest API and Hibernate. Made & deployed a few projects also, but don't have relevant/ company experience in Java. I also cleared Infosys interview 1 month back but my notice period is 3 months, so HR dropped my candidature in negotiations. Can anyone please suggest to me what I should do?

[query] Is it a good idea to say a firm No due to medical reasons to a new night shift project I'm hired in?Accenture
I recently got a night shift project (2 days ago) that requires me to work from 10:30pm till 7:30am
I'm not comfortable with these timings and I'm thinking to ask my manager to put me on Bench (Due to medical reasons that involve mental health)
Is it a nice idea to say a firm No to a new project I'm hardlocked into, due to night shifts?

Hi Fishies! (Is that what we are? I’m going with it)
I just came across a Google Research and Insights role that got me SUPER excited and I was about to apply when I had the idea of seeing if anyone would be willing to give me a referral. I understand (and respect) that most of you Googlers on here feel that a referral is only useful if you know the person but I would be happy to jump on the phone to give you some info about me. It would mean so much! 4 YOE at a major audio steaming service

Does anybody have any advice when applying to postings with many applicants and getting noticed? The company I am interested in is Figma, and though I reached out to a few technical recruiters after applying through LinkedIn, I am wondering if there might be something more I could do that maybe I’m not thinking about. Also along those lines, if anybody here works for figma I would love the chance to connect

I honestly say do whatever makes you happy. Yes of course compensation is important, because we all have to live. But IMHO, my peace of mind and feeling fulfilled is more important to me. I say do what makes you happy in the end.
I think it's worth it if you like the product and believe in the mission. If they're making you a great offer, I say take the leap!
I’ve had plenty of cases where I’ve had to sacrifice a bit of pay for a more satisfying work environment. I think you should take the leap and go for it.
Been there. Took a huge paycut, but now, two years later, got a promotion, raise, and love my team, our product, and the WLB I have now.
What is motivating the change?
Back office issues making it hard to get deals done. Unintentional culture. Chaos. I think what makes all of these things more unbearable for me is being here for over a decade
