Being an ex-tcser and someone whose first three years were sort of ruined due to support projects, I would say get your priorities straight. If you're looking to go for PGP, then I believe staying in Tcs is the right move as you can make use of the LWP system and also your already invested time in building a network will come in handy. Plus the job security so you will always have the safety cushion of the tcs job to fall back to. After you complete your PGP then move out to different other organizations. However if you're wanting to grow as an IT professional without caring for further education starting right now, then switching now is the way to go. Btw regarding changing your project to Europe one in Tcs, that's not so smooth. 99% times the manager and the hr will not allow you and also even if you manage that 1% chance, you will barely get onsite. Right now, onsite is a completely political thing in Tcs. Experience, skills don't matter. Its how much you help the manager out.

Thanks a lot for replying! Will definitely take this into consideration!

However, I started learning in the official TCS learning portal. I have acquired Python competencies along with Machine Learning and Data Science. I am also pursuing my Post-Graduate in Data Science and Business Analytics(GreatLearning). 1. I am looking for a project change, preferrably in Europe. When I apply for a project change, does my overall experience count or will they ask me to gain experience in Development domain first and then go for a foreign location? 2. Is it wise to look for other companies (as I might get interviews later on in the year due to PGP). I am conflicted since I am keen on working in Europe, I can apply for a transfer here itself. If I join another company, I will have to work there for some years before I get a chance to go overseas. Any guidance is welcome and appreciated.

Hello GDS Folks, I am currently on bench. When I asked about the projects to my counsellor and senior manager they told there is no projects available for my skillset. I didn't get any further communication. I am not sure which technology to learn to get the project. How long am I allowed to be on bench?. It's been a month already.

Starting as ASC/C at MBB soon and have zero clothes to wear in-office/client (coming from advanced degree where I wear shorts 24/7). I'm wide AF (5'9 220) from lifting and built like a rectangle. If you had to rebuild your entire business casual wardrobe from scratch for a non-slim build, where would you go? MTM or off the rack + tailor (in house or external)? Tried some charles tyrwhitt shirts but I'm all over their size chart so they would take a ton of work to fix.
