I’m an FA at ML, been in the role for 1 year and 8 months, but have 23 years of industry experience. So many people are obsessed with bitcoin but I feel like it's kind of culty - like they're some high tech pyramid scheme folk. And yet - it's intelligent and I need to start investing. I just honestly don't know how to navigate it and know what to do. Anytime I ask about it, the person's entire life is based on it and I freak.

Received an offer from a top FAANG for a 250% increase in TC. However, I was initially interviewing for a position that was remote and yet the final offer does not provide that option, non-negotiable. I have a wife and 2-year-old child and another one due in 7 months, and currently live near both sets of grandparents.

PhD in Chemistry w/ 8 YOE. Now pursuing a part-time MBA while working as an R&D manager is a chemical company. I don't enjoy chemistry research anymore and want to try something else. I'm interested in consulting and think it could open doors for me to do something different after a few years. My main struggle is that I think I'm pretty old to make such a change (if I can get into consulting) ...not sure if anyone has a similar background that can share the insights.

Today, I resigned from TD to join Amazon. I was denied promotions twice in last 9 months and I felt tired. So when I resigned, I didn’t feel good after that. Not because I’m not excited about Amazon, but somewhere in my heart, I felt too comfortable at TD. Even though they stopped valuing me, I don’t know why I felt bad after resigning? Do I not have self-respect? Or I did right and I’m just overthinking? What else could it be?

I’ve definitely seen large firms handle out of state contracts and acquisitions all the time and I actually know other attorneys who do it too. I just haven’t gotten comfortable with that. Anyone have thoughts?

Now they released me from that project and soon i will get another project at my preferable location. My concern is from the joining date to till date (1 year passed) I didn't get any billing as I worked only 5 months on a project, so is it like my 2 yrs bond aggreement is not started? I heard from someone that once you get billable then only your 2 year bond starts. Pls tell me.
