I’m a PTA working in Home Health. I live in the New Orleans, LA area. I’m curious to see if my wage is average or if I should negotiate with my employer. I have over 10 years experience and get PPV. Every visit I am paid $40 and my salary has been around $60k per year for the past 3 years. Also, is it common to get a yearly raise in the Home health industry? Any insight would be appreciated.

How do you ask about a signing bonus if it isn't initially offered? I've never asked for one before but I'll have tuition reimbursement I have to pay back when I leave so I'd really like to negotiate one. Is there any way to find out if some of these places usually offer one?
