I joined tcs as a fresher,with good knowledge in python and web frameworks. But HR forced me into a support project with little to no learning opportunity.
I recently cleared DCA , i was hoping to get a good project, but with the new band rule. I dont know whether i should ask for release now or wait till march/april till i get a band. Please advice me on this. The project is a lot of repetitive work, which i dont find any interest in. Shall i wait for the band or try to get a release now?

Looking at starting the CFA journey. Schweser was recommended, but is it worth the added cost? If I'm subscribed to the idea that I am going to be spending 20hrs a week studying, is that sufficient?

Today I got a call saying that from TCS and asked me, have you attended any interview I said yes and also said documents uploaded. I am the only developer in my team and my manager has assigned me a project in which I need to create a tool from scratch although that is currently running in production build by third party and we don't have access to that code.

I am on notice period and I am 100% sure that project won't be completed before my LWD.

What should I do, I asked him to put some extra team members but he didn't agree, seems like he will add extra team members 2-3 weeks before my LWD.

YOE: 11.5 Tech: QA Automation with Selenium-Java, BDD, API automation, Mobile Automation - Perfecto cloud, Appium. All the 11 years I am with automation only. Is it possible for me to learn new technology and switch. Recently acquired AWS cloud practitioner certification which is of no use to me now as they are asking for exp. I wanted to move to devops role. But without experience no one is giving opportunity and they are considering my profile as QA only 😒
