Try to negotiate with Deloitte with Morningstar offer.. what level at Deloitte? They can pay

Deloitte and TCS not ready to match up. This is max they can offer.

I would try to get more from Deloitte and go with them. They have a good reputation. I have several friends there who love it.

Are there options trading coaches or mentors? I’ve done well in stocks trading, have basic knowledge of derivatives from the BComm in Finance and various books/online resources.
But I feel like I’m really lost in the actual practical aspect of options trading and would love to learn directly from someone who’s experienced and successful in it. Preferably someone who’s smart about risk-minimizing strategies.

Additional Posts in Salary Negotiations

I’m working on an application for an exec assistant for a ceo and the application wants desired salary. I feel like that’s a trap. If I put something to low that’s great for them but if it’s too high I don’t want my app to be tossed immediately. What should I do?

January, I got a promotion to store manager of a Metro by T-Mobile. The job however came with a mandatory 60hrs/6 day work week. And salary at $1,000 a week. There are no benefits, PTO, or even holiday pay. I get a commission on my sales with how things are now a days, it's like an extra $400 a month. I'm not really happy, and am having doubts about staying here. Is this a good salary? At $16.6/hr i feel as it's not.

My company is notorious for not giving raises unless you ask. My direct report lacks boundaries and has said things like “I haven’t gotten one so…”. There is no report above her anymore as he recently left. Do I meet with the CEO? Or send and email with my request for an increase? I do not trust my direct report to have my back or even take it to the next level for approval.

Help! I just asked for a 40% increase in pay to as I’m underpaid according to average of what others in my position make. I know I won’t get it, but feel crazy for asking!

For context: this is a lateral move, into a newish project manger position at my company . Was told it wouldn’t be a pay raise, I make 55k. I know this is low for PMs.

Hello everyone. I am going into negotiations soon with an early level startup and wanted to hear inputs. I’d be working remotely and live in a MCOL city. I have 2 years of data analysis experience and 1 year of experience as a database developer. On top of that, I have an additional year and a half of experience in a role that is more applied rather than direct. I have an MS in DS as well. I’m being considered towards an Associate DS role. Anyone here work as a territory account manager for PathGroup? Hoping you can tell me salary but also about benefits, job satisfaction, etc.

I got promoted recently. The new pay kicks in 2 months later. I have another job offer that will pay me 30k more + 20k sign bonus. My current employer is a global org, the brand name certainly has value but they don’t pay well. When I told them about my offer and tried negotiating, they refused to budge from the num my new pay would be and offered 10k retention bonus instead. I’m one of the highest performing individuals in the team. I feel like they don’t care whether I leave or stay. Thoughts?

I just recently promoted to HR assistant manager. I have my PHR and working towards my SPHR. I am the lowest paid employee in the depth. We have a senior specialist and a general specialist both make more than I do. They have been employed longer with the company. What is your advice on this issue?

I just received a tentative offer as a sys admin for a subprime contractor at a rate of 80 dollars per hour. I was wondering if anyone understands how contracting works and if you think I'd be able to negotiate for a higher rate. They made it seem like positions salary is based on limitations of the contract. Any explanation about how this stuff works would be very helpful...thanks

Interview went well, Total 7 ppl interviewed me. I accepted offer verbally. Then I got promoted and I shared that to recruiter and my current compensation and offer are same. I shared my difficulty to recruiter as it will be a lateral move. He said he will get back to me in 1 day. Its been a week I haven't heard back.
What should I do. (I am excited for this new role also extremely happy with my current employer)
Is it normal for recruiter to not keep their words about communication?

I work for a small start up marketing agency. I am full time employee number 2 working directly under my boss (the CEO). Approaching 2 years in my position and my salary is under $38k (including basic health benefits). Am I being robbed? How do I approach a raise knowing the company is struggling to grow? For insight, my title is Marketing Associate, I also work as an email marketing specialist and co-account manager.

I interviewed at company A and B. Company A sent me an offer, however I really want to work at company B, and they said they would get back to me last week and still have not even after following up. Is it pushy or frowned upon to tell company B that I got an offer from company A so can they hurry the hell up and tell me if I’m getting an offer from them. Company B also said there is still a round of reference checks left and the holidays are coming up.. help! What should I do?
