Hey Fishbowlers! I just received an off from Dell for a Technical Content Developer 2 position. Fully remote, 5% bonus, 10k sign on bonus, $76,500K base pay. I have 3 year of experience in technical writing. BS in Com and MS in Eng Management. Is the offer good for position and my experience?

They say email is out!!!! On its way now 😅
Things that are certain:
1. You would be earning more in EY
2. You would get better hikes in EY
Things that are uncertain:
1. WLB could be better in TCS. But there could be certain teams in TCS which would make you stretch a lot.
2. Learning opportunities could also depend on the kind of project you get assigned to
I have worked with both the organisation. So I would prefer EY over TCS any day. You will get enormous learning opportunities in EY, yearly hike and bonus are also good here, but if you want a relax life you can go for TCS.
You will find latest tech in EY. Seniors are more welcoming. You efforts will get noticed. Yearly hike is good. M also in wakad, switched from Infy to EY.
Join TCS if you want to grow technically. EY gds policies are not matured. You will exp your growth not enough.
Leaders are themselves somewhat lost.
TCS also have draw backs, yearly hike is less, but they send lot of employees to onsite, also have very large projects with scope to work with clients directly.
One more thing with your exp, you will join as staff level resource
This means in EY gds getting a project billability will be a challenge.
TCS will certainly give you the learning you would need to crack into other org in future.
Anything but TCS. Consider it only for retirement.
