You’re not alone...and if anything, the one thing in your favor right now is the job market is an employee market. Many companies are willing to hire fully remote employees. Best advice is to focus on your mental health first and foremost, then the job hunt.

You’re absolutely right. Thank you for taking the time to respond, I truly appreciate it.

I hear you and empathize with your situation. With your recent experience, and if you’re able to afford it — see if you’d want to go for an “in-between” job — basically a role that’s parallel or not senior, may not pay as much, but allows you plenty of work-life balance and a solid culture/team to work with — all in the interest of refreshing yourself and refocus on your priorities. I’ve done it, and it worked wonders for me.

Keep your spirits up by listening to inspirational speakers - Jesse Itzler and Marisa Peer are great. Keep yourself busy by networking with people you know and meeting new ones, join online and in-person networking groups, work freelance if you are able to. Let me know you are seeking new opportunities. Most importantly, do not give up, KEEP GOING, nothing is impossible! Job hunting is a numbers game. Best of luck!

I’m in PR too. Thank you for this. Excellent insight—I will definitely listen to those people you suggested. I really appreciate it 🧡

I am in a single income family with a small army of children. We have enough medical bills from chronic meds and random happenings that we just do the plans that have the smallest deductible(out of pocket) due to risk of large medical bills. Therefore I do not do the HSA because I don't have the high deductible plan. Should I rethink that? Help me think through this.
