Hi IBM sharks 🦈
So I got interviewed for a project by the IBM team. The interviewer told me that its a go ahead from their end, now the client will assess my profile and if they too are fine with it, I will be onboarded?
Is it true that we have client interview as well? If yes then after how many days of interview by IBM team, client interview takes place?
Or its just that if the IBM team is fine with it, we are selected for the project?
Any inputs on this will really help :)

Director level roles are very senior. In my org that's 20+ years of experience and they over see teams of 100+ people.. Managers usually 10+ YOE. Managers of managers 15+ with experience of managing managers.
+1
Years of (relevant) experience are the way to determine which role to apply to. Lots of people apply to roles that have 1-3 years lower requirement vs. their actual experience (I.e, apply to roles with 6 YOE required when they have 8 YOE).

[continued] in marketing, hopping titles doesn’t mean you have to have the full experience or meet all of the requirements. I was hoping to apply to a manager/ director level role as my next step, but I don’t want to waste a recruiter’s time or be laughed out of the room. Should I wait for a role that’s at my current level to apply, or do they ever hire below level?
Thank you so much! Bummer that I won’t be “moving up” but this is so helpful and I’m glad to know before applying to the wrong role. Really appreciate it, G1 & M1!!
