This question might anger some, but not meant to be provoking. Does anyone else feel that half the jobs in tech (scrum master, project manager, product manager, etc.) are more hindering than helpful? I recently joined Cognizant and today I got my laptop but in that package there is no mouse as well as laptop bags. They have only given laptop and charger set. Is it normal or did they forget to give any mouse or laptop bag ?

In Cognizant was in a support project and no more new scope of learning with package 8.4 LPA; Received TCS offer of 12.1 LPA and accepted it. After resignation now Cognizant is saying that they will match the package and an assurance of onsite in 2022 (may or may not be true); what will be correct action? In terms of job security, WLB?

I had an HR discussion last week Monday and asked for 18 Lac as an expected CTC. Because I am holding a counter offer value of 16 Lac. When I am checking with the HR update, he told me like due to high compensation they are expecting leadership approval.
