Looking to get an internship at a Big 4. I’m a non traditional student. Currently in my last semester of school will graduate this fall with a Bachelors in accounting. Worked in the industry for 11 years with USAA most recent position Business Risk and Controls Advisor. I’m currently studying for the enrolled agent exam as the opportunity was presented to me working part time at Intuit as a tax associate. Any advice on how to get into the Big 4? EY PwC Deloitte KPMG
I knew someone who's working there maybe 2 years ago. Not so many positive feedbacks but the salary and benefits are competitive. It can be good for starters.
It is a good company if you are after financial stability. But it's not for you if you are looking for career growth. So it's up to you :)
Oh thank you so much for the advice.
A person gets hired to a company but really it is the team and manager who you work for in and day out. When interviewing, ask how it is like to work in that team, struggles, etc. Overall Exelixis is a good company to work for but the culture there is still something that they have struggled to improve.
The leadership is terrible there, but at least they pay you for your trouble. You'll have your headaches, though, so don't plan to stay more than a year or two.
