Anyone having any luck in breaking leases “BEFORE” move in date at University/On Campus condo housing in Arizona? If common areas won’t be open in building and the University does not open campus physically, any precedent? Currently only reason in AZ that is close: The Rental Unit Is Unsafe or Violates Arizona Health or Safety Codes / Current statute: Arizona law (Ariz. Rev. Stat. Ann. § 33-1363 to -1365) Would this include not abiding by state mandated Covid public space rules to open?

I haven’t seen my partner in over a year due to covid and I know his family is going to want to do a family trip once restrictions are lifted to go visit him overseas. (He is in the army stationed in South Korea). Would it be wrong of me if I said I wanted to go alone and be with him by myself? I feel like that may make me look a tad bratty but I don’t want to spend time with his family all fighting for his attention.

In the last year (pre and post COVID) I am finding it so hard to make any “big” decisions. My 5y relationship ended and a lot of things turned upside down (pre-COVID). Atm, I am considering moving out of my current NYC apartment but even though it sounds like a good idea, I am really not able to make the decision.. I don’t know if it’s because I need to stay calm and out of the moving hassle or I m just avoiding it due to my indecisiveness.. just wanted to share 😊

Ever since this situation has been finalized, I'm becoming very conscious of our spend & have been tight about it. Covid has helped. But I noticed that even my grocery store bills are pretty high...like a single run to Meijer is $125+. Costco is like $200 or so. We've always had fresh fruits, nuts liberally used in our house. The Coronavirus test is painful. How is no one talking about this?

Confession, the covid-19 pandemic has been nothing but fantastic for me. Still working from home, some additional perks from work, saved a ton of money not being able to do anything, as an introvert I got to just chill at home without the pressure of going out, got to bond with my family, I don't know anybody personally who died or got very sick either.

I just had my annual review which was given by my partner and a counsel. For some reason which I don’t understand, the counsel (who I considered a mentor up until then) bashed my work. I was so stunned that I wasn’t able to defend myself. I am now debating to talk to the partner about her behavior towards me, especially since she has already crossed a line in the recent past: she forced me to go to a hearing with her though she told me her husband had Covid and pleaded without mask with fever.

The whole household is COVID + So far only mild symptoms and hoping it stays that way. Even so, it is a little scary, not going to lie.

Friend is having a destination wedding in Cancun at end of October. What is the likelihood that they will need to cancel or postpone? If they do neither, would you feel comfortable to attend (assume covid is in same state is is today) ?

I had COVID in April and since then I’ve had a difficult time remembering things - personal and work-related. I’m writing notes and long to-do lists. I’ve been promoted and worried that I’ll be struggling at the next level. Anyone has memory issues since COVID? I was vaxxed and boostered - thank goodness.

What’s your reason for not wearing a face covering when walking in densely-populated areas? Are you uninformed? Please understand that you may be unknowingly spreading Covid-19 to other equally uninformed people, who then spread to others, etc. Then boom, a second wave begins
