Looking at an offer from a global cpg company for a assistant medical marketing role in canada. Base pay is 86k. Wanted to ask if that’s fair compensation? My current role is that of a senior consultant and I earn 94k but the environment is abusive and toxic and I really want to get out.
Im based in a different city and have spoken about wanting to work remotely at least in the beginning. Which is also another consideration, I’m not ready to move yet. Any advice would be appreciated!

My first switch. I got an offer from KPMG India. I accepted that and after that I got an offer from Deloitte India. I didn't show the offer to Deloitte. I view equity in startups as a potential future bonus. Currently, I’m evaluating a seed funded private tech startup that is net positive with a couple million $$ in annual revenue. I’ve been offered a few hundred options and am trying to understand if their strike price ($$$) is fair or not. What additional details would you ask the employer to share in order to determine if the equity offer is market competitive or not?

Do hiring managers feel that flexibility in schedule should be viewed as compensation? I have a lot of flexibility in my scheduling (can take my kids to daycare drop off at 9am, can take them to the dr, etc)… but my salary is about $10-30K less than where I’d want to be. TIA for insight!
