What is the position of Systems management specialist is like? Is it a kind of production support role?

Just curious about, is there really any impact on your career if you switch a company within a year, not for money but for good work and WLB.

Are the hiring managers going to weigh it while hiring you in future?

Like HM would reject just because you switched that early before, even if you skills are good fit?

Just hearing a lot of noise around it and want to hear from professionals here.

Not looking to pivot - just wanting some opinions. I’m currently a workforce Insights analyst & yesterday my manager sat me down and told me he is wanting me to take on short-term & long-term projections (essentially transitioning me into more of a projections analyst position). This is a good sign right? I’ve only been an analyst with them for about 4 months & projections is one of our biggest projects that falls under our grant. Maybe I’m reading too much into it - what do you think?

Was recently offered 70k from a well known business in the Huntsville/Madison area as an Electro/Mechanical Technician. I currently have 8-9 years of experience but no degree. Does this seem low? What are the “going rates” for this position with this level of experience? All input welcome!

What does it mean when you apply to a bunch of jobs for which I am a good fit and you hear nothing back for these jobs? For some applications, I'm approaching two weeks since submission. I did get a call back to the first position I applied to; however, after the lab manager saw how much experience I had he said to release me, far too overqualified, tell him he should be applying to Senior Research Associate positions. I have ten years lab experience.

Been searching for an entry level HR coordianator or generalist position but haven't received a call back for 6 months. I come from Banking - years and years of Customer service, reporting, Employee Development, Researching cases, Treasury. I have been at the bank 17 years. I know some of this can transfer over. It has been more than 2 months since I resigned but the clearance portal still has IT approval pending. Sent multiple mails to clearance and exit help desk. They even asked for IT asset submission acknowledment last week which I gave.
How much more do I need to wait for FNF and relieving docs. Really worried with this delayed clearance.
