Hi’ im a CNA and been travel since the beginning of the year and looking for openings after my contract is up

Desperately in need of a job. If anyone is hiring please reach out. I’ll take anything at this point. Bills are officially in the red, trying my best to stay motivated. I’ve been unemployed since October and I’m completely drained at this point. Thankfully I’ve been able to instacart but it’s not enough unfortunately. I have administrative and project management experience but again, I can take anything and I’m more than willing to learn.

I just finished my first full year at my firm and got close to hitting my billable requirement but fell a little short. Had a death in the family and my mom has been sick, which was distracting. Covid stopped travel billing for court/depo. Firm said I will not get a bonus OR a raise next year if I don’t hit hours. I understand the bonus part, but shouldn’t raises be based on tenure/seniority? I still do great work for the firm and clients are happy. Just curious what other firms do for raises.

I finished final rounds with a company and they said I would hear back in 1-2 weeks - today is the 2 week mark. I’m not crazy excited about the role and probably won’t take it (unless they go way over my comp expectations), should I follow up, or just let them get back to me whenever?

What point is the hiring process is typically solid enough for me to resign and give my two weeks? Started a role in a brand new creative agency. ( brand new in this city but established in an another country)

The employer said I will be paid weekly but now after my first week, he said that they have to skip a week to align with the payroll.

And that he will be paying me from his personal account till they set up everything as a new business in the country.

Especially considering you can make a similar amount of money doing the other core HCM modules without having to learn about the Practitioner side of things in Payroll.

Also, if you want to exit to an internal role, 9/10 job openings that I see do not even list payroll as a requirement but you'll always see the core modules+ Absence & TT.
