I have an internship offer from PwC FDD deals for summer 2022. I accepted the offer. But, for some important reasons, I want to move the summer internship to winter internship. If I ask them, is it something PwC will be willing to do? I really don't want to let go to this internship offer.

And, when would be a good time to reach out to them and tell them about it?

I am finishing up my industrial PhD (I developed a model for cell migration and vasculature formation - a mix between condensed matter physics, computation and deep learning) based in Barcelona (Spain), and I was thinking of applying for an internship as a Software Engineer/Student Researcher at Google/Microsoft/Apple/Nvidia.

The fact is I am worried about the topic of my studies as they focus on cell migration. Is there anything I could do to improve my chances of getting in?

I am currently doing my full-time internship at a startup where I am getting paid 17$/hr. I will most probably be continuing with them in Fall as a part-time and asked for an upgrade to 25$/hr. I asked for that upgrade because I already have around two years of experience outside of Canada as a social media executive in a multinational company. I am currently doing a masters degree at Concordia so I believe 25$/hr would be more appropriate. Am I aiming too high?

If your teen sister was to live with you for 3 months in a high COL city for an unpaid internship, would you expect your parents to help out with the costs? I’m sharing my bed in my studio with her, paying for increased utilities, buying as much groceries as we’ll need, covering most dining/fun outings. But I’ve asked that they give her money to help with transportation, fun activities, eating out, her hangouts with friends, etc. I’m being told I’m being selfish and not being a good sister.

Hired at a tech company based out of SF for a remote role. I am east coast based - should I have gotten it in writing that the role is and will be remote? It was confirmed verbally multiple times but the offer letter that I signed did not state it anywhere.
