Hi! I’m an Indian currently on H1B in US. I got my I-140 approved for the next 3 years and need to step outside the country to get my visa stamped. I’m thinking of visiting India in December and using the drop box feature to get my visa stamped. Any intel on how long does drop box is currently taking to send the passport with visa stamped? I’m hoping to be in india for 2 to 3 weeks and unsure if I would get my visa stamped by then. Is there a source where I can see processing times for drop b?

The lawyer should be experienced in handling this 60 day grace period situation and developing alternate strategies - such as change of status to B1/B2 or applying to jobs from India. Quite new to this. I’ll be moving to Dubai in a month and I got to know that my education documents need to be attested before the company can apply for visa. I’ve been trying to get hold of this as information is not consistent. Do I need to have MOFA Attestation in addition to the UAE Embassy Attestation from home country or will that be managed by the company in UAE itself?

Anyone can refer me to audit experienced associate in big 4? I am more than willing to give up my current pay in private company and join big 4 for billable hours to upgrade my career. Hi everyone, I got a verbal offer from AmEx for $134k w/ a 12% annual bonus as a Sr Mgr. I have 4.5 YOE coming from marketing consulting. Is this good?

My total experience is around 7+ years and am currently working in a MNC from the past 4 years. I was planning to make a switch to some other company but recently my manager has mentioned to me in person and as well as on my appraisal feedback (in writing) that I will be nominated for the H1B visa in the coming cycle. This was in July 2022. Should I be worried that it won't happen or should I start looking for the switch.?

J1 & J2 together make about 200k although there is no room for growth in either but WLB is amazing (< 10hrs per week). Stuck contemplating if I should abandon overemploy to chase promotions seeing that I could eventually get to my current salary with my job. Just feeling a little stuck over all. I know many consultants most likely make more. Any one else feel this way or have any thoughts? I was thinking of looking for a different J1 and slowly try to climb up if possible.

When my H1B was filed..I worked for Client A. I will be at at a different client say 'B' when I go for stamping. Do I have to be careful about anything. Eg job description etc which will be different.

Applied online for visa extension for my family member in Feb, got the receipt and everything. In june Uscis status said that they have scheduled biometric appointment in July and have sent us information on that via mail.
