Im at a Job (not CACi) where I use my public trust and not my secret clearance and will be losing (inactive for a year and a half) in about 6 months. (When active shouldn’t expire until 2027) This makes me nervous since DMV is heavy on federal. Should I jump to another job and start looking or is having a clearance not to hard to get again? PLEASE HELP! I’m a first year commercial litigation associate at a boutique firm. I am deciding between two offers. One is to go in-house paying roughly the same as I make now. The second offer is from big law as a commercial real estate associate, paying double.

I would love to go in-house and never worry about billable hours again but the big law money is super tempting. Advice?? Is the money really worth it?
