Hi, I'm entering my 2nd year of teaching and have a Senior in HS, a 6th grader and 7th grader all in one school. Our school is a pre-k thru 12th grade school.

Is LinkedIn jobs completely useless or am I not doing a good enough job selling myself to the robots? I’m used to actual humans. Any hacks here?

I was laid off recently from my role as my firm declared insolvency. I had an interview with Deloitte today (My background includes tier 1 graduation, work experience with investment banking firms as well as consulting firms) and the interviewer thought that they could arm twist me. The interviewer was rude from the start, didn’t let me finish sentences, treated my work experience lightly and later told me that the work is tedious and she doesn’t want me complaining later. Question for the group. I am an experienced individual currently searching to get out of private and into public. I am a CFE and Certified Technology Business Management Executive (CTBME) with an MBA and am scheduled to take AUD of CPA on May 13th. Am I barking up the wrong career tree to try to exchange an extensive and diverse career into what appears to be specialization within public? Hey awesome mamas! What are your plans for when you have to go back to work but your kids are staying home either doing distance-learning or the hybrid model? My three are all in middle school and high school doing the hybrid and are home by themselves Monday -Wednesday. Even though they’re old enough to be home by themselves I still don’t quite trust that they’re on task- especially my 6th grader. Also worried about having to help them with a lot of homework after I get home from work. Ideas?
