I'd check out the VC Traditionnelle as well - it's my favorite dress watch
Thanks, I’ll take a look!
I’d look at the VC traditionelle, and the Lange Saxonia Thin.
The Saxonia auto is nice but way more expensive than the manual options. The Calatrava is nice but not a great value prop. If you’re less concerned about the extra costs, both of those are great.
I don’t love the Patrimony, and the 56 is much sportier than the others you’re looking at so feels a little like the odd one out
Lange if you can buy at an AD
Why 56? Of these options, ALS all the way
Are you buying grey or AD/boutique?

The ones in the case have been demonstration models recently.

In this list, I’d disregard the VC options.
Patrimony is 42mm unless you’re talking about another model?
56 is not a fully in-house movement. Generally I wouldn’t care, but if you’re going gold dress piece, I’d favour the other two.
Patek and Lange are both excellent choices.
It’s about personal preferences: do you want the brand that everyone knows or do you prefer an option that is a bit more “in-the-know”?
I personally also think the Lange has the more interesting movement, but that’s personal. Value is probably going to favour the Lange as well, but i haven’t looked it up so I could be wrong.
Thanks for the pointer on the 56’s movement, I have a relatively big wrist so the Patrimony being a 42mm isn’t really a problem, but def leaning towards the Patek and A. Lange.
