I had an interview today with a big firm. The firm recruiter called to let me know the partners liked me but that two recruiters had submitted my resume, including one at Parker Lynch. I’ve never worked with Parker lynch or submitted my resume to them (I just checked my emails) has anyone had similar experiences?
I currently work as a reinsurance broker at one of the bigger shops and I got an official offer today from insurtech broker, and they offered me 70k base plus commission. I currently make 79 base + bonus and i was managed to raise up the offer to 75k base plus commission after asking for 85k since they told me they can’t do it. Do you think I should take the offer? Or stay with my current employer?

Got an interview with KPMG for senior associate - financial services. Most of my previous consulting work has been with technology and health care companies. Would it be too tough a transition to come in as an SC with no to little banking or financial services experience. I do like that space but don’t have much knowledge in lending and banking.

I’m struggling at the moment to gauge how much I should be getting paid in my position as i feel I’m heavily underpaid for the work I do, which includes managing digital marketing operations across 12+ countries, manage the studio/creatives plus lead on any campaigns and strategies, etc. I’m also remote UK-based although my company is international. So what do you feel a fair UK wage would be for the role? I love my job/team but the stress isn’t worth it for me atm. Thanks in advance!
Hey folks, any thoughts when you finish last round of VO and haven't heard back from recruiter since then and still goes without update for more than a week (6 business days). As the HR didn't reply my email sent 4 days ago, I was wondering if I have to ask him again. This is indeed one of my most wanted job and I regarded my VO interview as a pretty successful one. Any experience when it takes a loooong time for the recruiter to get back to you after final round of interview?

My neighbors are super nice and friendly, mostly seniors. One of my neighbors is constantly asking me to go for coffee. Last night when I was returning from my evening walk, he got a bit aggressive about it. He was walking his dog.
I was like oh bring your wife over and I will make some tea. He didn't seem super impressed.

I am posting this here and in the HR group. At what point in the interviewing/hiring/offer stage do you try to negotiate a sign on bonus? Is there a specific position level within the company before they’d even consider offering one to a candidate? Thanks!
Was promoted to Principle System Engineer in December 2021 (Technical Band 3) and went from 81k to 98k. Our company has experienced significant attrition (13 engineers down to 4 engineers within 6 months) so a few months ago my director bumped me up to 110k based on me being a top performer in 2021 end of year review. I am grateful for the pay increase, but all of the coworkers who left have found positions that provide significantly higher pay. Am I being underpaid for my work?
A few of my colleagues were promoted to the same level as me. We were open about our salaries and I discovered I’m making 2k less despite the fact I have a degree (the others do not), have greater responsibilities and more experience in role. What is the best way to phrase this to my boss that I know I’m not being paid accordingly?

I'm in a pickle about my salary-
I had 1.5 years experience before starting my current role 2.5 years ago. The company had no marketing before me & I built everything from the ground up. My responsibilities have grown tremendously, including sales enablement, Rev Ops, customer success, product development & more. I had a conversation last August about my salary & was promised a raise & promotion, but it hasn't happened. Sales hasn't closed the revenue we need, but I've also never had a raise.

So I’m being contacted by GS for an associate role in Dallas. I live in Tampa. Making around $88,500. What is the realistic amount I can ask for? I assume I can try and get $120k to $130k for an associate role within GS. Hear hopping firm to firm is a standard and it usually brings a nice pay hike.
How much do you value WFH as a benefit? In terms of monetary value, I’m saving on gas every day, and have no commute, but I still have a car so l can get around and do things in my free time.
I’m on 45k + ~20k bonus, but market rate for my position in this area is 65k + bonus of 15-30k. Am I best off with WFH from a pure quality of life perspective?
