Bringing on Principals. We have spent 5-years building out a remote-native management consulting firm and now growing by bringing on Principals... Our firm is taking a different approach to growth by offering full access to our remote infrastructure and operations team as well as the bench of talent. With a fully transparent comp structure, our Principals set their own rates plus receive a % NET of their hours for each project. We can't compete on brand (yet), we can on ops and comp. Thoughts?

Already at MBB. Went to T10 undergrad. Dream exit is health tech. Applied R1 and only got into Kellogg. It sure would be fun to explore and network for 2 years. But not convinced Kellogg is enough of a leg up for my network or career prospects versus current MBB role to be worth the financial/opportunity cost. Need some advice. I am super burnt out due to work, covid, etc. My firm offers a 3month internal rotation that is very popular - you keep full pay while having predictable hours & no client work. I’ve always been interested in it and the timing seems right. My main Partner is NOT supportive and says I should take medical leave instead or drop to part-time. He doesn’t have a project for me to work on but doesn’t want me doing anything else. Should I take the role at a risk to this relationship?

On a team with all men. Have been told multiple times I need to “be more assertive” with our client. I’m getting things done, content-wise (and have confirmed this with my manager), but my speaking style & ways I engage with the client are being perceived as too...soft I guess? I’m not really sure.
