Hi! I’m looking into self scheduling tools for my team something similar to Calendly. Any recommendations for one that you enjoy using or found extremely helpful in scheduling phone interviews with candidates?

+1 for Calendly

like

I liked using vCita and did use a trial version of calendly in my last role. While I know vCita is a more costly option, I do know that it was incredibly easy to use and I did struggle during the time I used calendly. My time with calendly was short and it could’ve been user error. The amount of screens my team did doubled when we started using vCita. While some users were comfortable going in to schedule a call, others would call me directly to make sure I was a real person. That was always a fun conversation. That was just my experience though.

Thank you I’ll definitely check this one out!

Update! I did some extensive research last week and the top two that are not ATS’ that I felt could accommodate recruiter needs specifically are calendly and acuity.

like

Which ATS do you use?

Workday

I’d also love to learn about other scheduling tools. We use Greenhouse

Calendly is the best integrated self scheduling tool IMO but Interview Schedule offers that and more advanced functionalities

I had a great interview for a new job and an initial offer, but HR told me that there's no room for negotiation. What do you think that the education system needs to do, to get young people to be better prepared with challenges in life? For example, I grew up in Malaysia, national secondary schools had home science lessons, where we learnt from ironing to cooking to carpentry to sewing to plumbing to soldering on a circuit board where we did individually or in teams. To me, these skills altogether prepped me with a lifelong ‘Swiss Army knife’! Anyone with children with ideas?
