Hi all,
I just came to realise Deutsche Bank has a fixed rule of max 30 to 35 % hike on fixed component and remaining 10 to 15% variable i.e. total 50% max hike you can ask for no matter how good, skilled you are.
Is it true?
(I got to know this when an HR called me for a Frontend developer role)

I am starting an outsourcing IT Support company, and I want to hire people with autistic spectrum, since I am autistic myself. I would like to know if anyone is interested to invest on it, or if anyone would like to hire our services. The company is based in Colombia. Our website is repshome.com

Over what period of time, for how many trips and how many people? Travel includes all expenses including cabs to/from train stations and meals. I'm in NYC and went to Philly for in-person with client every other week on Amtrak back and forth for a year and it adds up quickly. It's also in your benefit to have more in your budget for anything unforseen than not and have to ask your boss for it later. Best to ask the agency to give you more detail behind their rationale.
@OP glad my head is on straight
@ADirectorOP: Do you have visibility to LY actuals + what it was used for? IMHO, $20K can go quickly for travel, even with clients in the same market. For context, I have $12.5K per quarter for my team.
i think it sounds ok. Definitely not outrageously high.
AE1: Exactly!!!
This sounds high to me. If you have a meeting once a week and its a cab/uber/drive that would be about $50-$100. That's 5k a year. Everyone else brought up good points about the assumptions, late nights, research, etc. But I would ask for clarification on what's included.
If the Client and Agency are in same market yes, BUT maybe this covers shoot travel?
No. No shoots. Just meetings!!
Depends what you're planning on doing. Any Market Research outside of area? Does that also include any employee late night travel the agency may reimburse?
Your question needs a little more context. But I'm in NYC and my client is in Indy. W
Along with market research travel we net out around 30-40k a year
You need to find out what’s included. This is the reason clients are demanding transparency and you should know, so good for you questioning the item.
For a year, that’s pretty normal.
You should also go check your MSA with them. Most likely they send backups for every passed through expense
What’s the travel policy in your MSA? Are they sticking to it? And will they be reconciling costs and reporting back on spends monthly / quarterly? You can always ask how they have calculated the budget
You should request a travel budget breakdown of their assumptions. How many trips per month, to where how many people traveling etc.
