Can somebody help me with the type of questions asked in the case study round for business analyst position at Meesho ?
Do find that the conversation of salary is different between you and your white colleagues and your black colleagues... for those of you with a diverse enough office to have black colleagues
Is 76k a year low for Senior BI Analyst? MBA in Business Analytics, 3 years of experience, python, R, Tableau, Alteryx, experience with data science as well (predictive models), SQL.
I have been in logistics for 5 years now since I was 18. I started out lumping trucks -> order processor -> CSR -> Amazon trainer/lead -> and I made a huge jump into the corporate world now as a Logistics Operations Associate for one of the biggest bottling companies. I have no degree and I feel like I was low balled heavily. Where do I go from here career wise? I can't afford school I believe in a year I can file Fafsa solo. What is my next role after this? What should be my niche? Cont.
Private Equity groups at Oliver Wyman, S&, and EY Parthenon have all invited me to interview. Alix Partners has reached out to build out the Galt Co acquisition. 1. Anyone else who is considering a move to private equity consulting, are you concerned with joining at what could be the peak of M&A? Are these companies being rational in such a hot market when it comes to hiring? 2. Any thoughts on the quality of these teams relative to one another?
Well.. I brought up compensation, being a women and feeling bias since I'm a Latina... and two weeks after fired. After I explicitly said I was nervous about even bringing it up in fear of retaliation. My review after I brought it up was riddled with "issues" that were never even brought up as being an issue. Things that make you go hmm.
Does anyone at Workday have an estimate on compensation for a senior reporting consultant ?
EP's, if you freelance what's your hourly rate?
For those working in analytics department in agencies. What would you say it’s a good salary range for a Senior Analyst title?
NOT senior data scientist. Senior Analyst that works with reporting, audiences, research and tracking

Anyone at Altman Solon London who can provide total comp figures for Consultant, Senior Consultant and Engagement Manager levels?
Base/bonus breakdown would also be great. Currently at a T2 generalist firm and thinking of switching, but would be good to get a sense of comp progression (Glassdoor data seems incomplete)
(1) What’s the main difference between TAS, FDD, and M&A? (2) What’s the senior and Manager salary range for each of them in a MCOL city? (3) What’s the future employment prospect for each of them? (4) Overall, which one is better and has more growth and financial opportunity? (5) Can you get consulting jobs at MBB with experience from either of the 3 service lines? Asking for a friend!😊. TIA. Few recruiters reached out to me and have been offering a hefty salary. Similar situation last year was different. I.e I see salary difference of 30 to 40% in base salary range. I am too excited to take the offer’s, but also scared that is it just momentarily and when market stabilizes they would fire folks???? The companies reaching out last year and this year are different ; none of them are big tech companies.
For people who have moved to industry in a tax role, what do you think your salary progression will be going forward? Do you just expect to make $150 - 200k annually until retirement?
I have two offers in hand both great jobs - pay is salary + commission. One is 20k less at plan but is my previous company in which I was apart of an reorganization in 2020. I left on great terms and have a lot of connections but it will be a new territory. The 2nd and new company job has a company car still new territory but an opportunity for growth and to be apart of something new and exciting. I know this is a good problem. Just so confused.
Wife (works in PE) just got a bonus and cary points that each individually exceed my TC, AMA
Is typical comp for a manage level at Big4 sufficient for a foreign couple with one 2 yo kid to live in Dubai? I'm thinking to moving to Dubai.
Has anyone deducted an office chair on their tax returns. Looking into getting a new one for my office - been having back issues with current one.
Invited to a dog’s birthday party. Me and my partner both are not pet people. Curious what should we get as a gift. Budget is $30-$50. Links are welcome. TIA.
Hi fishes, any idea when phase 2 of WFO is going to begin in Cisco? And what is the probability of Software Engineers being called to office? Will then even call folks to office?
Taking FAR in 3 weeks. I finished the chapters today. Practiced MCQs for the first 4.5 chapters. Have done no sims yet. Do you think I should reschedule to push it back a little?
So I've been reading around about the right time to leave PA, and I need extra guidance. Please bare with me. Now, it is my one regret in life that I chose the auditing track, and I knew that from
Does anyone have tips on how to strengthen professional relationships without coming off as a weirdo? I have reached out internally to be more involved at the firm, so I can meet more people organically. A lot of the people at our firm work remotely, so I hardly see anyone when I go in.
I’m a solid associate but but nothing impressive (high hours, positive attitude and good work product). Lack of strong professional relationships are going to hurt me as I get more senior.
For all internal auditors, what is your yoe and salary progression?
We did this recently for IT audit so I want to see non IT audit
Help me. Is ARMY RESERVE worth it. I had masters degree in Accounting when I joined the ARMY. My dream to be an officer was denied so I settled for E-4. Now, contract is up and recruiters are trying to sign me up for Enlisted again. My new job won’t allow me time for OCS. What should i do?
I really hate my job. Only because it's really difficult and I have low self esteem. My confidence has gotten lower after my meeting with my mentor. He was helping me on a project and a few days later I asked why we are doing it a certain way. He was pissed and said I should ask my questions early on instead of asking two days later. I'm taking really long on this project that shouldn't take this long. I can't stop crying and feel really stupid and slow. I've been in my new career for 8 months.
Ok, so I got this research request: find case law for the principal that matters settled by the parties (not by a binding settlement agreement) cannot be litigated in subsequent litigation. Basically, the plaintiff told the defendant “we have resolved this issue.” This is not res judicata but maybe some type of estoppel. But honestly, I have never heard of this principal within this context, and I am not finding FL or federal case law to support. Anyone have thoughts?
what’s the ratio of equity/stocks to bond/fixed income in your Merrill lynch 401k plan?Do you make any modifications or just use recommended distribution? First job with 401k and not sure what to do!
Was on a call today with colleagues and they were all commiserating about childcare costs rising, daycares closing unexpectedly, sick kids, and pregnancy pains. I just smirked the whole time and thought “wow that blows… I’ll keep you in my thoughts/prayers while my husband and I are in Costa Rica for a long weekend next week. Byeeeee” ✌🏻 🇨🇷
How do you book your time as a contractor? If I’m supposed to be available 8 hours a day but only have work for 4 do you book 4 or 8?
After clerking, my BF recently accepted an offer from and joined a V50 firm (been there a few weeks). Shortly before his start date, he heard back from a V5 firm (one he’s wanted to join for a while) and just got an even better offer. Practice groups at each firm are also different.
The office he joined for the V50 firm is in City A. The office for the V5 firm is in City B (where V50 firm also has an office).
How should he break the news to the V50 firm to minimize reputational risk, etc.?

Communication from my partners seem more negative rather than resolution based. My ideas have been spread around and others are taking credit for it. Micro management has begun. I have sourcers reaching out to me for update on candidates I have not push through instead of checking the system. I have to explain why I did what I did without any real reason. I’m not dropping the ball. I am persistent and have a go getter “get it done” approach. The employees I hire show up and seek longevity.

Any one can share thoughts on comparisons between campus talent acquisition role vs talent acquisition for specialised consulting roles. I’m having early convos for the two roles. Would be keen to hear opinions!
I've been working for 6 months as a recruiting temp. My original contract was dec-march. Then we mutually extended it when I had another offer for March. They then offered me full-time but I was interested in another role in another department. They agreed and I'm going to be working the 'temp to hire' role in the new department.
Am I allowed to ask for a new hourly rate for this 'new' role? I took the original rate due to covid necessity but would have asked for more if it was temp-to-hire.

Fellow Recruiters! Any certifications you recommend that really pushed you to the next level? I’ve checked out CIR, PHR, etc., but they don’t seem to be quite what I’m looking for. I’ve been recruiting for 4.5 years and would like to find one that could bolster my resume as well as learn more Talent Advisor vs. Recruiter skills. Thanks for any insight!

Hi everyone :) I'm currently trying to relocate from SoCal to Oklahoma! I have put in many applications for HR roles as well as admin. I have been working for Kaiser Permanente for over 6 years as a service rep and received my HR degree 2 years ago. I've had no luck in the company with any positions and I'm looking to start my HR career somewhere else. Do any of you have any recommendations for work either in the Tulsa/ Broken Arrow area or remote work? I would really appreciate any leads!

When considering taking a contract opportunity- what are things to look for and consider? Has anyone created or utilized a template/calculator to support taxes and figuring out actual take home pay?
I’m a Talent Sourcer at my company and tend to take on lots of side projects. My boss recently ask me to make “reports and trends” a priority and asked for data to about what is driving the market and how we are comparing. She also wants me to make a proposal for this project but it’s such a large task I don’t know how to start. People pay a lot for software and data about this stuff I feel like I’m not gonna find everything we need with Google and spreadsheet. What would be your next step??
Currently recruiting for a trucking company. I have been told a few times that my experience there for the last year isn't what companies want to hire for a professional recruiter...
How can I better market myself and show that I can learn regardless of who I am currently recruiting???
I was offered a promotion but due to internal policies the max comp they could offer was way under market value. I countered and was denied. I took time to think about it, being disappointed I applied for other jobs. Monday came and I decided to accept the offer. A week before starting my new position I got a call for one of the jobs I applied for. I am now going through to the last round of interviews the same week I start my new position. Would it be bad practice to accept another offer now?
