Hi, in my excel pivot table slicer I have my options and then (blanks) option , anyway to get rid of that?

I’m looking to make a supplier list where I can just filter on certain requirements to get a smaller list…currently creating as a pivot table but is there any other options that make sense?

I guess should first filter the pivot table removing the blank, then you choose hide with no data

like

Right click the slicer and check the “Hide items with no data” field

like

Tried that and sadly does not work :(

Select the data control + h
Find (space)
Replace (leave alone)
Replace all

It will remove all the blanks

He said that it becomes clear after the technical interview and that there is a 3rd round with the director but their process never goes to that .passed the technical interview very successfully. been invited for the 3rd round to present a project .Have they made a decision and I’m invited just as a backup choice?

About to leave soon for PE - more so because I wanted to try it out instead of stick in banking. Need some info: I'm looking for a new position and came across an opportunity at a media+creative agency as an Account Director. I'm going in for interviews soon and want to learn what I can in the interim.

Hi all, urgent request for help:

Say I have two rows (New and Lost customers) and a bunch of columns for the number of months passed. I can input a specific number of months that customers get retained for (X), and to calculate lost customers each month I want to subtract the new customers from X months ago. What formula do I use to grab the value X months ago from the New row? I want to make sure that the value I grab can change based on the X input. Manual example below.

Excel: I have data showing the monthly actual for assets deployed after a certain date. I want to figure out how many months it took for the asset to ramp to $100M revenue for each of the individual assets (200+).

Currently I’ve done a count-if based on the revenue range (0-200) and then taken an average of the months it took. Is there an easier way to do this?

Sensitivity analysis: Guys do you have any tips on doing sensitivity analysis for an xls with different tabs for inputs, cals, and outputs? I need to calibrate net income for 8 revenue scenarios based on flexes on two inputs (one is a flat rate OPEX unit and the other one is forward oil curve). Data tables won’t work coz I have 8 cases each of which needs its own cals and output tabs. Appreciate help! 🥺 inherited this model so noone to ask! 😅
