Starting us off with an important tip: Your resume is a marketing document, not an autobiography. It should include relevant jobs, responsibilities, and perhaps most importantly, achievements. Where you can quantify an accomplishment or just talk up a major project you led at work or in an internship, do so. The point is to make the hiring manager think, “Wow, I need to talk to this person! They seem like a good fit!”

I’m a 4th year and my partner let’s me run smaller cases but still not letting me run the largest cases in the firm, but I’m not sure when I should be running independent

There’s a corporate partner that was a big-time lateral hire. He is always out of the loop on the deals and hands off on everything BUT any time there is a client call, he tries to provide input that is very off base (i.e., stating incorrect facts, creating inapplicable hypotheticals, or being an alarmist on items were previous addressed). It makes me cringe every time because the partner from a different corporate group has to cover his gaffes on the call. Has anyone run into this situation?

Indesign is obviously the best IMO, but I’ve found it difficult for clients who don’t have a design background and want to make changes in the future. I had gone through the iqvia interview for web development analyst. After 2 rounds of interviews, I was asked to submit documents related to education and previous employment. HR said that they will call in a couple of days for HR discussion after the documents are submitted. It has been more than a week now. Is it usual for them to take this long?
