I was looking out for a new job and Got an offer with a ctc of 1cr from a series A funded startup. 72 fixed. 3 performance bonus. 25 esops. Experience - 5+ years. Case in point being, service companies underpay employees. I never worked for 1. And i recommend everyone to shift to product companies. I think it's pretty easy to shift these days, with all the resources available online. A series A startup is obviously a lot of risk, but then again if your risk appetite isn't that much you can always go for established product companies which will pay you between 40-50 lpa for 4-6 years of exp

I'll give a typical consultant's answer - "It depends!"
I'll suggest you look at it this way - Do you have enough to make your ends meet and have sufficient money to fulfill your dreams (remember that you don't need to compare with your peers)? If yes, I would say you have a good salary.
It's very difficult to give a standard salary figure which everyone will consider as a good salary. Hence, what matters the most is your satisfaction.

Nope , everyone out there are getting atleast 2 - 3 Crores per annum for this YOE.

No. You should be ideally getting 9-12 lpa. Ask them to reduce it.

When I was at TCS at this age I was getting 24k in a month, this is huge if you compare to your TCS counterparts

Not good, I think 70-80 lakhs is proper for 3.8 years experience

Honestly you are still getting paid very less, at this experience you should be making atleast 75+ LPA.

Work hard man, else you will be underpaid everytime you get new offers.
