Hi, I’ve been working as a temp at a company and they decided to hire me. I wanted to know how much I should be asking in salary (I’m hourly currently)
Currently I’m at $30/hour and work 42-44 hours a week. I’m in NYC and this is for a consulting/finance company. Can someone help me with how much I should aim for?

Is it better to exit to a smaller company vs F100? Will the small company have faster career progression? I’m thinking specifically a biotech firm (e.g.Moderna)vs large Bioopharma (e.g. Merck). Same salary and job title at both.

Any nurses here transition completely out of healthcare and into tech and hit $150k with their first tech job? I have my associate in nursing with 10 years of hospital experience. Im trying to figure out if I should get a bachelors in computer science or just get a certificate in my preferred area of computer science. I want tech companies to take me seriously and want to crack $150k with my first job. My nursing job now pays 130k. What area of tech would even pay that much as a newbie?

As a IT analyst in TCS, will be completing 8yrs in march.. My manager is not initiating my AST even though i am eligible.. Is there any way i can push for it? What is the eligible criteria? When is the AST promotion cycle? Also can i negotiate for salary hike in this promotion? My current CTC is too low approx 5.8LPA.
If yes, what should be the% hike i should be looking at.

Anyone have actual intel on how comp (particularly bonus structure) works for mid level hires (vice president, director) into Corporate Functions (for example, legal, executive office, etc.) at BBs?

I have just interviewed for a position closer to home and a base salary of 65k, but haven’t heard back from them in about 2 days (He said he would make a decision by yesterday and I’ve reached out).

Has anyone had any experience interviewing with Meta for any Administrative Partner roles? I have a interview Tuesday from 1pm to 3:15pm with 4 leaders. Each leader gets 30 mins. I am nervous. I am very confident of what I am bringing to the table. It’s a remote position and I know the job market for EA is flooding. Does anyone have any pointers? What’s the work life balance like? How did your interview go? What are some red flags to look for? How long was your process?

How many hours a week are you working? I’m generally clocking about 50-60 and I’m exhausted. I’m busy, but it’s mostly because no one I work with has any boundaries.

Questions for my fellow EAs out there:
1. How many of you travel for your job? If so, are there stipulations?
2. My team is having an 2-day offsite meeting in another city and many folks outside of our team are all traveling in for it. Some are only attending for an hour. My exec told me yesterday I couldn’t attend (after weeks of asking him), citing that we couldn’t have excessive hours of OT (maybe 4 hrs). I do not feel valued as a team member.
