Can we swap . I am tired of travelling for work
Try working at coffee shops! And call your team. I'm on a remote project now too, so totally feel you. I have an hour every day blocked off for general check-in calls with everyone. I think it really helps with internal communication as well as not feeling isolated.
Step outside if necessary.
I am working on a remote project from home and in another time zone for more than a year now, and I love it. I can do my groceries, i do more sport and when I need to go to the office for a meeting, I catch up on my social life and gossip with lots of coffee breaks and lunches. If you feel isolated though, you can go to a coffee shop or shared working space (in Europe they are gaining a lot of popularity)
Why can’t you go to your home office anyways?
I work for a startup we don’t have an office
Did this for 1,5 years.. I eventually got a weekend job at a shop around the corner to have that interaction at least on one day! After that I got a pet.. worked much better than I expected 😅
It used to be nice to meet people daily when I used to travel or go into office. Does anyone experience this dullness and lack of productivity? How do you deal with it?
Go to the office.
Oh ok. Join WeWork or something similar.
I’m working at home now but that’s because I requested it. I needed some interaction with my friends and family
