Hi Applied to PwC Strategy& for a consultant role and havent heard back from a recuiter however, I received an email for a survey asking what am I looking for in the company in terms of their culture, values etc and what other companies I have applied to. Is this a typical process? Not sure if thats the step 1 in the process or I have been rejected. Any feed back is appreciated. I am graduating from Ohio State with an MBA and have 8 years of experience in corporate accounting and finance.

Alpharetta is nice but very suburbia, and far from the city centre with traffic. And the Alpharetta to ATL commute is LA style traffic. Based on the criteria you listed, I’d look into east Atlanta; old forth ward, grant park, Inman park, Reynolds town, etc. .

Those areas are super trendy/urban/edgy. I’d recommend west midtown, Inman park, Virginia highlands, peachtree battle, chastain park
Decatur is nice and close to the city. But Alpharetta is better, little further from the city but much cleaner and newer.
Thanks all!
Thank you! A few homes I’m looking at are a very short drive to a park and ride MARTA station—was thinking that might be the best way to commute in for work (if we ever get back to those days!). Does that seem reasonable? I don’t know much about public transit there yet
Ok thanks for the info! I have just heard such awful things about the traffic—“legitimately soul sucking” is how it was most recently described to me 😌—so I figured being near the train could be a nice option.

Decatur has amazing restaurants and an eclectic, fun, energetic culture. Some of the best coffee shops too! Decatur is also extremely LGTB+ friendly and has a large inclusive community. I’d also recommend Druid Hills which is a bit less landlocked from the highways as it is just west and therefore closer to midtown/downtown/buckhead
I moved to North Druid Hills a few months ago and it’s very suburban/strip mall vibes with pockets of nicer residential areas but also some not so nice ones. It was a shock coming from a city, especially having to drive everywhere, but very accessible to I-285 and major highways and close to green space/hiking. It does seem very liberal - lots of Biden/Harris signs everywhere and more racially diverse than where I was (although I don’t know the area well enough yet)
