1. Get to the point right away and pause - and then if needed /if questions are asked spend time to elaborate on your reasoning.
2. Or use the 3T method ( this is more so for presentations )
In other words: 1. tell them what you are going to tell them; 2. Next tell them; 3. Then tell them what you told them
3. Use key words “My point/ view/ perspective is”, “drawing from my experience ...” or when presenting at work “ the message I want to leave you with today is ..”
Yes. Read often! I have the same problem but when I read I find that my verbal skills increase. Read anything - I love fiction.
Read. I used to be called out for structured thinking and speech, years later I'm struggling to make full sentences without weird pauses.
Read and it helps your debate with yourself and form opinions that you can express. Otherwise you are forming opinions on the fly and it isn't helpful verbalizing it.
