thanks PM1-it that did cross my mind. I have a friend that was in menopause and her periods came back. I had covid vax in late april and second shot in may. I will google around
49 yr old here... in general for me, starting at age 45 or 46 everything started to change! Periods, hotflashes, fat patterns, metabolic rate...even new mole growth. Biggest factor to staying sane was taking birth control back to back and adjusting caloric intake way down.
I had baby at 43….tried to do another at 44 and didn’t work….periods then became more spaced and STRONG….now 49 no hot flashes…but Covid plus perinemopaise not kind to my “shape”…
If you were recently vaccinated that could also be the cause. There are new studies being funded because of so many reports of menstruation being affected. May or may not be relevant for you.

thanks I will ask about it when I go back in. I don't have any other issues besides annoyance. I also get my iron checked frequently since I am vegetarian and had severe blood loss last year from a surgery. (unrelated)
Early 50s here and still having cycles right on schedule. The only evidence I have of peri menopause is thinner hair, drier skin and a need to watch my calories/exercise more closely.
My sister and I refer to them as “crime scene” periods. If you don’t happen to notice it thr moment it starts oh my. Good thing I have a bladder thr size of a four year old girl and therefore used to never being far from a ladies room…
