My sad thinks I do audits because I'm in a big 4. I've been doing what I do for 5 years and it isn't even remotely close to an audit 😒😟😩😭
Woke up to the dreaded “Conversation with X” meeting on my calendar this morning 😔 I know this question has been asked multiple times but can someone provide me a list of all of the things I should send to myself before being let go? Also, does anyone have any tips on how to negotiate for the maximum severance package? So much processing through my head right now and trying to remain level-headed to figure out the short term plan in the meantime. I have my call in the next 3 hours. Thank you!
Anyone travel to Hawaii and get the Covid test, I know there are a few rapid test around Chicago but it seems like the state of Hawaii has very limited partners they accept on their website, I’ve only found Walgreens who does rapid.
There's a lot of pressure from parents for us to return to in person instructionin my district despite rising COVID numbers. Is anyone else experiencing this?
Anyone ever started at a big 4 as an undergrad campus hire, then moved to McK or BCG after 2-4 years, without going back to school?
Choosing between industries for Big 4 Audit. Asset Management or Technology Media and Telecommunications to transition into TAS down the line for Major Metro Markets?
180k deaths keeps getting discussed as a talking point..... but out of a population of roughly 320M that is 0.056%. At what point does this stop being an emergency? Now that the CDC also stated less than 10% of deaths were even from covid alone without any underlying conditions or co-morbidities.
Thoughts on chances for a Top 15 MBA? 3.5 undergrad GPA at top 20 university, 750 gmat, 1.5 years FS consulting, 1 year B4 advisory (mostly PMO work), Asian female
What’s the general experience with leaving B4 going to smaller, local firms? Is it big fish in small pond? Worth it? Hate it?
If people defer their start dates to MBA programs from fall 2020 to fall 2021 cus of covid-19, will the number admitted for those now applying for fall 2021 be hampered by this?
How are other districts compensating you for working over your contracted time? I’m not taking just over. I’m taking about 13+ hour work days, every day.
Do you think universities will abolish the GMAT/GRE requirements after COVID? The thing that irks my soul is that standardized testing does not measure intelligence 😩 I’ve also always heard from folks how grades no longer matter in grad school. Thoughts?
I’ve been laid off due to lost business. Struggling to find junior strategist positions and agencies that hire at that level, not many do. Should I stick with what I enjoy or consider account?
I’m moving to big law (from regional firm) in a month. Am I allowed to workout during the day? I love going for lunch-time runs but I’m scared I’ll get fired for not responding to an email within 15 mins. Please say I’m allowed lol
Glad not part of D and the toxic culture anymore. High performer laid off 60 days ago for no reason of mine and ready for next opportunity. Good luck everyone at D
What level is an “experienced hire” typically brought in at for MBB / b4. List YOE, company, title you came in at, schooling experience, any other relevant info.
Does anyone have experience in healthcare venture capital? I have a potential opportunity and would like to know more about the day to day and possible career trajectory.

Question for post MBA consultants (current or previous): Is the compensation the same for consultants who start post MBA compared to those who have been promoted to a post MBA level since post undergrad ? Or is it different
Kind of panicking with the insane valuations in the stock market and considering liquidating brokerage account (not 401k) to invest in real estate (e.g. buying a house or condo). In midwest. Could live there or rent it out. Good idea? Bad idea? House vs condo?
Best planning strategies for Non-Qualified Deferred Comp lump sum distributions? Election for lump sum already taken
Looking to make a move into this sector. Currently an Auditor who serves VC/PE companies, but am burnt out of audit life. I’ve been looking into FDD at other Big 4 firms, but it seems people have similar complaints. Higher pay certainly sounds nice though.. Also seems that A&M is a desire able exit for people. Is anyone able to provide further insights on what to expect in FDD at Big 4, versus a similar role at A&M?
Can someone tell what is the role of Chief Of Staff in industry? What kind of designation is this.
Tell us how long you've been a teacher without saying how long you've been a teacher. Ex: Overhead projectors were like gold 😂.

Investment return from Jan to June (1st half of 2020) was about 40%. However, if I didn’t actively trade, my return would have been 300% during this same period. Great lesson for myself! Share ur lessons learned during 1H 2020
Been in consulting for a year now as an Associate with 1.5 years prior experience. Possibly could be promoted at my firm this year. Have an opportunity to work at getting a job with a FAANG. The job would pay 30k more base + whatever the comp comparison is. I am wondering what is a better career opportunity/what will pay more in the short term. And what are generally FAANG signing bonuses for non-engineering roles in engineering.
We all know you’re asking to bid my female director so you can tell your client you did your #FreeTheBid duty, but I’d rather spend my day getting her a real job so I’d rather not pretend to bid w/you
Any EY ladies here used Pathway to Parenthood benefits to cover egg freezing? Please can I dm you?
I’m currently working on a project where I’m in a group of four. Someone said “hey I’m in your group”, and I said “sorry, the group is full”, and they said “when did we pick up this other person, we can’t do groups of 5”. They aren’t picking up the hint...
I get way too much of a thrill out of finding the perfect emoji to react with on Slack. Am I this boring of a person that that’s what I find fun?
