Anyone able to give me a referral for Facebook (Meta) or Google?
I am a paralegal with 8 years of experience in the legal industry (+ Fortune 500). I was just diagnosed with a serious health condition and I’m looking for new remote position, that is challenging and offering high pay and benefits. Facebook (Meta) & Google currently have openings for positions that align with my skills. I kind ask that you simply share some tips, if you are unable to offer a referral. THANKS!
How do you navigate getting a referral on a platform like this? Genuinely curious on if HR/Recruiting asks how you know the person you're referring, or if they don't care where the referral comes from.
Really interested in a junior PM role at Razorfish. A close friend currently works for a different Publicis org, so not sure if a referral from them would mean anything.

What’s the position? Also, which area and how many years of experience do you have? $80k sounds very low to me.
It’s a Premier Support Engineer role with a little over 10-years of experience.
Now a days tech companies are giving $80k to people who had career gap. So area and experience also matters. With minimum 5+ YOE I think base would be $100k
What is the title? As a software engineer I wouldn’t take any lower than 100k with multiple years or experience.
Ofc if you’re still interested definitely renegotiate
And the vesting, do 25% of the shares vest annually or nothing until year 4? I agree the salary seems low depending on your location. And negotiate that starting bonus up to match the promised original offer. If you don’t want to delay starting a job, maybe accept the offer and immediately start looking for another job. My gut says you aren’t being fairly treated.
