Hi ladies. I work in IT consulting and we don’t typically have to put notes in for billable hours, but a few weeks ago my boss asked me to start entering notes, about what exactly I was working on for client A,B,and C. I just said sure and didn’t ask why. I found out today from other colleagues that no one else was asked to enter notes in for their time. What’s a good way to ask my boss why the new change? I’d at least like to know if I did something wrong so I can improve.

My background check just came through and somehow they have my big4 salary listed, even though I’m 99% sure I checked the box they couldn’t contact my employer. Could the company take back my offer for something lower?

They report directly to the c-suite and said they mainly focus on strategy or M&A and don’t do implementation.
