Spent 4+ years as CMO of startup company. It was an incredible learning experience but also a very difficult uphill battle trying to steer the owners and the company in the right direction. I’ve just exited the company as of 11/18. The owners expected to storm the marketplace and emerge as a number one brand at only 6 years old without putting in the work.Company had a very hard time understanding the concept of a unique value proposition. Hoping to find a new remote (full time) position ASAP

Couldn’t you tell the interviewer that you don’t want to give a number until you know more about the position? Always seems tricky to me to ask for a number when you’re not really sure what’s expected of you. Hope this helps.
Yes, thank you dear.
I think I will do that. I agree with you and also felt uncomfortable with this request before talking with them.
I appreciate your feedback 🙏🏽✨
Whatever figure you put out there, put a figure that you would be comfortable making for 2-3 years. I would go in with the assumptions raises and merit increases may not happen as part of yearly reviews.
Thank you!!!
Ask what their budget is before giving a number
