I can say MWE works crazy hours as I’m on the opposite side of deals from them, and they’ll be sending us emails at 1 am even without an imminent signing or closing. Never worked for them though and don’t know the culture.

Hey everyone!
I'd love to get your feedback on our subscription marketing service.

My partner and I created a cost-effective subscription so small / medium-sized businesses could focus more running their business and strategies without the need to hire in-house, manage multiple freelancers, or fight with agencies.

We do this with a proprietary Workspace so marketing managers can delegate projects, connect with our team, and download completed work / files.

What are your initial thoughts?

My partner and I planned a trip with all of his friends and their wives before I knew I was pregnant. We will be going and I’m 8 weeks pregnant. I considered not going because I feel like without them all knowing I’m pregnant they’re going to think I’m super lame. We decided the best thing to do is just tell his friends (although a bit earlier than ideal) and then take the pressure off me to show up in any way that doesn’t feel good for me. I don’t even know what my question is…..

Just needing a safe place to vent. We were extra vigilant about the holidays with our two kids under the age of 5 requiring everyone to test and be vaccinated and keeping our gathering extremely small. Nope…not enough. Anyone else obsess over your next career move? I’m a senior associate in a niche BigLaw group in DC. I am just now hitting my stride and can really see a path to partnership. I quit. I was respectful. Thankfully, every person I have told has been so nice, and I wasn't immediately bounced out by my leadership (which has happened), but I have been surprised by my own bittersweet tears. If they actually cared, why didn't they say so sooner? I gave so much, and I was consumed by this organization. I invested in them, but my investment and dedication were not reciprocated, which is why I ever even entertained leaving. I don't know why it hurts, but it really, really does.

Anyone have three kids and working in big law? I just found out I’m pregnant with no. 3 and it’s been a lot trying to juggle morning sickness, but based on my experience, I know this is only the tip of the iceberg of what’s to come. My husband and I are elated, but the anxiety of being a mom of 3 kids and working in big law is preventing me from truly enjoying this news. It would be good to know what it’s really like having 3 kids so that I can evaluate how long I really have left in big law.
