My boss doesn’t understand print deadlines. Today I was asked to have 3 banners high quality banners made for an event that’s happening in less than a month. I was given 0 guidance and no artwork. The businesses to be advertised don’t even have logos. I don’t know how to talk to my boss about this. Is it even worth discussing? Just because I get things done doesn’t mean I’m a magical being who can just create something out of nothing. When I bring it up he says “you can make it happen” 😑

Need advice on how to frame (unintentional) job hopping. In Nov. 2019, I left a job of 6 yrs to lead marketing strategy at a Start-Up. By Mar. 2020, I realized the culture was toxic. I had to leave for my mental health. Finding a new role took a while due to the pandemic, but I found a role at a digital marketing agency. It was a great team, but paid very little. I took a higher paying job this March. Turns out, my new company is unstable and about to be acquired. I am job searching again.

Jeff Bezos is famous for saying that Work-Life balance doesn’t exist and that it’s all just really a circle of trade-offs.
