Hi ad peeps, copywriter here with experience at several NYC agencies, anybody hiring? Happy to share my book but am still employed by my agency so would want to share it directly with you via email.
What is the best way to ask hiring managers about their people development skills? Finding it kind of hard to gauge with all these virtual interviews but want a manager who will actually help me grow.

Anyone know title hierarchy at Facebook? Currently S&O manager and looking at manager role at fb. Need move to be bump, not lateral.
Feeling so down after being turned down for MD. And exit appears to be so hard - getting no traction in Industry or PE right now.
Post interview process - When the recruiter mentions a base salary range based on their historical data for the position and on my years of experience and this aligns with what I see in Glassdoor too, is this essentially locked in where I can’t negotiate the base salary outside of that range? Example: Recruiter says base salary range is 85-90k, but my target is 100k base, will they only offer 90k base max and try to meet my target with sign on bonus, etc?
SO has been an art teacher for 5 yrs, looking to get out of the classroom. Just completed a Masters in Org Leadership with specialty in Proj Mgmt. What’s a good role for that Exp and Edu combo?
What companies are still hiring currently? Sorry if this has been already asked, trying to jump
How do you answer your current employer when they ask why you’re leaving? The truth is that I’m leaving because I’m going to a firm that has way better exit opps and MBA placement, but saying that to their face doesn’t feel like a good idea. What should I do?
Eight Bit Studios in Chicago, is hiring for a product designer with animation chops if anyone knows someone looking! Chill small agency, in-house devs, wide range of projects, plus ping pong!
I'm currently a TVC at Google and was contacted by a Google recruiter who didn't realize that I'm currently working at Google. When I told her about my current role, she said she's not sure if I can be considered and has been non responsive on my follow ups. What exactly is the policy in this case? Would my applications for a FTE role be simply not considered too?

Would getting only "partially at next level" in whole leadership hold up your promotion to manager?
My overdue promotion (PM to Sr PM) is in progress, but processing is taking a while due to company Covid delays. Is it inappropriate to ask my manager what the salary increase will be? (It’s killing me to wait and wonder if it’s lower than I’m expecting)
If we are working for a Big 4 as a Senior Consultant and expecting a promotion to Manager in the next 1.5 years and eventually want to exit into industry, then does it make sense to exit right now or take the promotion and exit?
DC Grant Thornton 🐠 - any updates to SA pay bands? What's the range looking like these days, hearing about hiring need on the PubSec side and seeing a few interesting roles.
EY fish. Giving notice. Do I just email my counselor and copy my project manager letting them know? Or only counselor first?
This may sound bizarre but in a pinch. I have been jumping through hoops trying to get imaging for a new lump in my chest. Everything is so far booked in my area that it’s impossible to get scans same week even if you call first thing Monday AM. It’s now been two weeks since I discovered it and am still waiting on schedules to get tests done. My insurance covers ER visits 100%…wondering if I just do it? I have a busy life and really just need answers.
I am so grateful to have a job right now but I am really struggling. I’ve been at D for a little under a year and have been really unhappy with my experience. In particular, my current project and my direct supervisor make me feel unbelievably incompetent and under appreciated. Given COVID, there is little flexibility to roll off. I’ve tried to stick it through but I’m at a breaking point. Any suggestions on how to make the best of it? Or next steps?
Hi everyone! I’m a young CPA, relocating to Raleigh. I made the decision to transition into sales after realizing that I want to bring more fun into my career. I’m currently reading sales books, watching Keenan’s YouTube channel, and learning all I can. I’m relentlessly applying for SDR positions but I’m having trouble landing interviews (been applying through LinkedIn). I would appreciate advice from anyone who transitioned from another industry into sales. How did you break the barrier?
