When I hear the 90-100 hrs a week in banking, is that time nonstop work or is that including waiting time? I work in TAS right now, and so far the hours seem way lighter than I expected.

Advice needed for 24F!
I've been going to Orangetheory 5-6 times a week for the past 3 weeks and have been eating around 1,200 cals a day with no eating past 8p and drinking lots of water. I'm confused because sometimes the scale will show that I have lost weight and other days it doesn't. Overall I feel like I'm only getting bigger. It's discouraging at this point, does anyone have advice?

I am a 10 yr lawyer. 7 yrs in my practice area. Little over a year at current firm. Still an associate. Im at large plaintiff firm w/ billable requirements. I do mass/class cases and hold a couple leadership positions (these were competitive to get). What should salary be and when should I make partner. I’ll add I work remote and pretty autonomously. Little contact with partners or anyone at my firm.

Did anyone get a 4th COVID vaccine during pregnancy? I already have 3 from pre-pregnancy but I feel hesitant about the next booster since I’m pregnant. I’m due in Nov which is ultimate germ season so I can see why it would be good but equally I don’t feel as comfortable having it pregnant. I also caught COVID in June for the first time so 🤷🏽‍♀️

First trimester insomnia?
I’m only about 5 weeks, but my sleep schedule has gone off the rail the last three nights. I’m sleepy/drowsy, settled in bed around the same time every night, and yet I cannot fall or stay asleep. I have a white noise machine, comfy bed, cool room.. etc. When I do fall asleep, it’s earlier in the morning and I sleep until 1/1:30pm. This was fine the first few nights since it was the weekend, but it can’t keep up. Anyone else experience this and have any recommendations?

What prenatal vitamins did you all use?

Are women here having issues finding appointments for initial prenatal visit? The first appointment I got will be at 11 weeks that too I was lucky because I had already scheduled with the doc for some other Obgyn issue back in July and they converted it to a prenatal appt. If I did not have that, I would have not got anything for the first trim. The other docs in the clinic also did not have appts. This sounds very risky. Heard from someone in Texas she did not get an appt until 16 weeks

I need a portable breast pump. Anyone have any recommendations for Elvie vs. willow? Trying to utilize my husband’s insurance to get my 2nd pump. Currently already have the Spectra S2 and I love it, but I’d like something I can use to pump without being tethered to the wall.

When and how do you approach the ‘Im pregnant’ aspect? Do you tell them during the first interview, second or upon getting hired?

I know everyone is different, how long did it take you to fall pregnant with your first? We have just started trying but I’m already stressed at the possibility of hiding a pregnancy at friends and family gatherings, taking an international trip in April, and the ‘perfect’ time to be pregnant/due (I know there’s no perfect time!). I’m six weeks and have either a yeast infection or UTI (been awhile since I had either and symptoms since last night can go either way). Have an urgent care apt later today but worried about antibiotics or medications while it’s still so early and the risk of miscarriage or birth defects. Anyone been through this in first trimester?

She’s going to be great with the baby - she knows several and is very gentle and sweet - but I’m just a wreck thinking she has no idea her whole life is about to change.
