We average $250-$350 a week depending on how much delivery we get during the week. Also two adults and a toddler
We spend about $1000-1200 per month on groceries and restaurants/food. Closer to $1000 during the pandemic, and that number includes diapers and some random super Target shopping that’s not always strictly food. We’re two adults and a toddler.
Which city do you live in??? I land up spending way more in NYC and only order takeout 1x a week

We are in dc but used to be in nyc where it definitely was harder to cost-control! I feel you!
No matter what we do we can’t seem to get it below $1200/month for two adults and a toddler. Chicago
Same.
$400/week groceries, $75 for family takeout once a week and $250 for our weekly date night. Sometimes we come in a little under or go over, but we budget $3000/month. We’re in South Florida.
We spend about 500 a week in the Bay Area for 2 adults + a toddler. This includes takeout twice a week, trips to Costco, trader joes and our Asian stores. (Just reading this again - we spend so much on groceries, and almost always have nothing to eat during lunch hours)
Florida and about $2000 (ashamed), sometime pay nanny to cook for us which carries a high premium. Barely eat meat most goes on fruit veggies and coffee pods
But also... pub subs 😋
About $250/week on groceries and $100-150 on takeout (two dinners). Also two adults and a toddler, plus a spoiled dog that gets homemade dog food.

Thanks for posting this! We are about 150-200 per week on groceries and are trying to cut down takeout to once a week (75/100 per meal). It adds up!
We’re at 150/week on groceries, 100 for keto meal plan and 50-60 for take out. We’re trying to cut down some expensive takeout habits, but some day’s we just dont have time or energy to cook.
This is for dc area and doesn’t include things loke baby products, diapers.
The day he stops using diapers, i am going to donate something !!!!
This is for 2 adults and a toddler
$200 groceries, $100-200 take out per week for 2 adults and a toddler. Used to seem like less bc I wasn’t used to counting lunch (my husband bought his own at work til covid hit) but I buy groceries
$200 groceries and $200 for dinner out weekly. Groceries code two adults and two young kids. Does not cover separate wine shipments which are consumed too frequently!
1200 per month (includes diapers), for 2 adults, 3 kids under 5. We don’t eat out much, maybe a couple times a month. We live in Texas though...
$1000 a month on groceries and another $500 on takeout or ready to eat meals. Plus extra for diapers, cleaning supplies etc. Baby is still half on formula. Boston area.
