We were bathing 1-2 times a week and my doctor recommended going every other day and doing “bleach baths” (they said Google it) once a week (i never did a bleach bath though). They also said to switch from Burt’s bees soap and lotion to dove soap and aqua fur (in the jar) lotion and to use aqua fur 3x a day. Also use an non scented detergent. They also gave me a prescription for an oil that also helped.

I’ve also heard good things about tubby todd lotion, but never tried it bc the above steps worked for me.

We bathed sparingly in lukewarm water and no soap. Moisturized multiple times a day and kept skin folds dry. If she had a bad spot, it only went away with a bit of hydrocortisone (check with your pediatrician before using since it’s a topical steroid)

there are specific creams - medicated - that my pediatrician prescribed that cleared up my baby's eczema when he was 2 months old. nothing else worked.

Kyte / bamboo pjs, tubby todd, organic soaps, detergents etc

RX steroid cream from the ped to stop flare ups was the only thing that worked really well for us. Aquaphor applied religiously at every diaper change helped as well. And arms in a sleep sack at night, very short nails after we had to take them out

Get him tested for food allergies.

Mine has a wheat allergy diagnosed at 9 months.

Steroid cream (prescription) when it got really bad, lukewarm bath water, really short baths, no soap, unscented “gentle” detergent. I also put socks on the little baby hands at night when the scratching got really bad.

I have a friend who’s baby pulled off the gloves and they went with something like a backwards jacket with hand covers attached. Something to limit the damage to their skin is probably good in addition to trying to fix the actual issue.

My LO had horrible eczema! We used the 2.5% prescribed steroid cream for her face and another one for her body. If you don’t want to go the steroid route, we found aveeno oatmeal cream to be super helpful especially the patches where she’d scratch till she bled. But do ask your doctor about the steroid creams! They made my LOs life so much better!!

Looking for advice/input:

I’ve dealt with ADHD my entire life, although was just diagnosed last year. Throughout my career (assurance>industry>consulting), I’ve been able to “outwork” everyone else in the office to counter the lack of focus and other associated faux pas associated with the disorder. Recently have hot a point where I can’t put in the hours (3 yo/fam), and my work has taken a major hit. Anyone in consulting/assurance have any methods for managing this when it comes to PM duties?
